IUPAP Young Scientist Award
Sergio Valenzuela, Physics and Engineering of Nanodevices (PEN) Group Leader at CIN2 is one of the three recipients of the IUPAP Young Scientist Award. The award will be presented at the ICM conference in Germany this summer. The award consists of a cash prize, a medal, and a certificate.The certificate will have the following citation:
"For significant contributions to nonlocal spin-detection methods, including the first electronic detection of the spin Hall effect and of pure spin currents".
